As I said in post #90 I reached my conclusions about the age of 9 (that would be circa 1943 )   What I actually said was something like "The trouble with this world is that at least 70% of the people in it don't know their job"    That was a result of comparing junior school teachers' general knowledge with my own.

 

Sturgeon's Law was not published (according to your quote)  until 1956

 

It looks as if people took more notice of that cocky little sod from Hemsby than I realised.   :whistling:

When i had my bailiffs hat on answering questions on how to fish stockbridge i always said at the end any advice can be influenced by Grangers Law IE the opposite could happen or nothing at all!

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness  it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

 

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

As you can edit all of wiki anyone can write anything ,i "think" i may even added my law but as its come out red perhaps only seen by myself tracing my entry back to me?
