Leicester City Football Clubs owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was in the helicopter which crashed about 200 meters from Leicester City King Power Stadium last night.

 

He usually travels with his children and grand children to the statium in the helicopter

Leicester City FC have confirmed that Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was in the helicopter when it crashed.

Very sad, all 5 Including the pilot didn't make it.

 

Have to say I've Never fancied a helicopter ride - one is at the mercy of the engine with no wings as a backup to glide!! at least having some chance of survival on hitting the ground.

What's the general consensus of opinion on the cause of this? I would not be surprised if a drone hit it - you can see something whizz into the tail rotor from the right.

 

Such a sad incident. Five lives cut so short.

At .51 - .52 there is "SOMETHING" - I would think it unlikely that a chunk of rubbish that could obtain that altitude in that time span could completely take out a tail - but maybe?

Why do people have such crap cameras its like looking at 1950's tv with an indoor aerial!

Having money doesnt always help had he got the bus home he would be fine
