Why do you think that Moslems don't have Christmas trees? I know loads of Tunisian Moslems that put up trees at Christmas.

a great number will not ,we cant have a christian god being worshipped when our god iis better.ki wonder if hooky or chowdary put up decorations and drank port because 'its christmas' ?

as my statement says i am not surprised only that less informed maybe ,not had any moslem carol singers yet but 'moslem' has no disernable markings moslem isnt tattoed on their forheads so hard to spot so perhaps a possibility in a community support role.

strangly walking about the vilage the highest amount of cider cans are in a short lenght of verge just before the moslem ghetto so i guess other non moslem habbits are rife lol

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Christmas trees have nothing to to with Christianity. I know Sikhs and Hindus who decorate there houses for Christmas too. The MosIems I know that decorate their houses at Christmas still won't wash down the turkey with wine. I have never been religious but I still like my Christmas carols, The world is not a binary place chesters.

I can't think of one that bothers me to be honest. The only thing Tim Minchin has done that I liked was STORM. If he was in the Guildhall in Southamton and it was only £1 to go see him, I'd rather spend my money on a 2l bottle of Irn Bru from the corner shop.

Nearest houses with kids at least 1 mile away :yeah:

Bit more than that for me but my poor mum gets plagued by them and literally worries herself as it approaches, the pumpkin rule works quite well but it only keeps away the type she would normally happily see, the damned chavs and yobs think it’s somehow ok to behave as they like.

Sorted it out myself in the end by staying with mum that evening, trick or treat they call it, well it’s a trick on them and it certainly is a treat for me, endless chuckles and laughter as I enjoy my favourite game! I call it “Race my German Shepherd Dog to the garden gate.”

Rules are simple and they seem to understand quite quickly.

"My imaginary friend doesn't like your imaginary friend is no basis for armed conflict...."

I saw him live in Wyvern theatre in Swindon before he was big. Just him and his piano in a tiny venue. He was brilliant. Saw him again in Birmingham arena, with an orchestra. He was still good, but the first gig was better. Would see him again.

As for dodgy lyrics, how about "Christian children all must be / mild, obedient, good as He" - quite apart from the obsession of religion with obedience, we are talking about a historical character who got nailed to a plank for causing trouble for the authorities and who the scripture reports chased the money lenders out of the table with a whip.

As money lenders wasnt people having a whip round perfectly legal? Perhaps if upsetting money lenders was common the whip round may have been for buying said plank!

Bloody kids begging knocking on strangers doors.

Begging at best, demanding goods with menaces at worst.
