Talking of low hanging fruit and totally off topic but do you have any plum trees?

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Yes but if you're after scions, I haven't got a Victoria.

I have a damson, a nice large purple plum of unknown variety and one that was supposed to have been a Victoria but is in fact a rubbish cooking plum that will be grafted onto in the spring.

Why do you ask?

Not very good at the tounge-in-cheeck stuff you two.

FWIW Ken most of the sports ones are paid for the sports governing body, with parents making a small contribution.

Why is it tongue in cheek ? Our school used crystal palace pool (the olympic one?) And tynecastle school is directly next to the Hearts football pitch which was used by the school for football lessons

Quernmore (closed while IN the EU) was in bromley and used Downham baths for the doggy paddlers and crystal palace for the better swimmers.

Not sure why i used a ? Mark it should have been a ! As it WAS the olympic one and it was damned cold in the diving pool

Just curious Ken.

No worries.

I think the big plum is "Opal" but I'm not certain.

If it was scions that you were after, you're welcome but I thought you lived in a flat.

If you hadn't mentioned low hanging fruit, I would not have thought about plumbs. ;-)
