It's getting so place of residence has little to do with "citizenship" in the US any more.

 

IMO governments are going to have to take a much stronger stand. Climate change alone is going to displace a couple hundred million in the next decade.

 

My problem, it's easy to identify the issue - far more difficult to identify the solution.

Europe or germany? It forgot twice remember but it wasnt illegal migration it was forced migration now germany went on the other swing and opened the gates to illegal migrants seemingly becoming legal and forcing it on others who do not want it .

Thing is that every time the right rises, it's as a direct response to the lunacy of the left.
In the 30's, it was communists.
Now, it's the radical authoritarian far left who are hell bent on the total destruction of European culture, the dissolution of European nation states, silencing of free speech and free speech advocates and the demographic replacement of the European people.
There will be a push back because while it's nice to be nice, that ceases to be an option when you are facing extinction.
Denmark is trying to send migrants home.

Repatriation is now firmly on the political map in Sweden.

Poland rejects the insanity of western Europe.

Hungary is standing firm.

Vox are on he rise in Spain.

There are many more examples of Europe shifting to the right and in every case, the trigger is the same.

Even the Dalai Lama sees the madness and has declared that "Europe belongs to the Europeans”.

This is our alternative future..

Not really. Godwin's Law refers to the accusation of being just like Hitler when discussing people who are not like Hitler. We're talking about fascists here, they don't get to disown their crimes so easily.

There's nothing remotely authoritarian about any of the parties or people I listed,so as is so often the case "fascists" just seems to be a synonym for "people I don't agree with".
