I've done a bit of investigating and found him on various website forums, but nothing any more recent than 2012. I found a couple of email addresses for him too but they are just bouncing straight back. There was a member on a reptile keepers forum who had "In memory of ferret1959" at the bottom of all their posts, but again that wasn't recent. :(

I saw that too, but the next sentence suggested that it was a reference to him getting himself banned - again.

Still not found anything after 2012,other than that fish-in reference that I sent via PM.

I can't take credit for finding him i'm afraid. My partner sent numerous pm's to various Dave Tippings on facebook and one of them got back to her confirming it was the "ferret".
