Fishing line will now be recalibrated

All,

A kilogram will no longer be a kilogram of 2.2 lbs. And I was just beginning to get the hang of line weights.

The kilogram is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the Planck constant h to be 6.626 070 15 × 10-34 when expressed in the unit J s, which is equal to kg m2 s−1, where the metre and the second are defined in terms of c and ∆ν

I am sure fish wont notice

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Be assured, the Line manufacturers will STILL express the Breaking Strain and diameter.

Things change, ie Temperature - The coefficient of thermal expansion changes diameter & size of - well everything.

The standard for size is only correct at 20 C.

Nothing will change that will affect Anglers.

MARTIN, Martin, martin,

Blasphemy, how can an English fisherman atone for even the slightest change in his neutral buoyancy rig now that a KG is no longer a KG. If you can't defend the details of English Angling the least you could do is remain silent. Next, some idiot is going to say the earth is round.

Phone, we'll make the necessary adjustments, it's what we do AND why we won 2 world wars. (admittedly with a little help from our friends)

I don't need to defend the details of English Angling but I can define them in one word - ADAPTABLE !! :marinheiro:

And like I said, the Line will not change, even if they have to change the labeling values on the spools of line slightly. They're jigged up already so why should they change!!

April fools day is long gone!! (your shoe laces & everything else are undone)
