I see the prob!! plus the met office have upgraded their forcast it now says: "southwest veering west or northwest 6 to gale 8, perhaps severe gale 9 later"

 

Chesil's prob not the best place to be! mind you I fished Cogdon the day after the big storm in the 80's, you know the one Micheal fish (good name! ) said was going to miss us. We had to cast from the top of the bank with 6oz leads, and had bites but the line kept getting buried in the shingle at the shore line. The best entertainment was the guy in the cortina who came down to the car park and parked about 30 yards away and in broad daylight, had an intimate session with his girlfriend (or someone elses perhaps? ) then drove off!! I think it was too windy for him to hear our cheers and clapping!

They copied the scene for Titanic a few years later!!
