I wanna fish Walthamstow..... I need advice!

Ok, So I want to fish Walthamstow. I'm in my second season of carp fishing and doing OK(ish).

I'd like to move to a better/harder water and hopefully improve along the way.

Can anyone give me the low down on the water and any bait/swim/tactics that might get me going in the right direction.
