Am finally able to get out on wednesday for a few hours fishing but dont know what to do , go for pike and perch fishing with lures on the canal or course fishing at a local lake on method feeder to the island and float in the margins .... perhaps anybody in liverpool fancy meeting up somewhere and having a session ? on canal or a park lake ? any responce would be grat thanks.

Do which ever would be the most fun for you.
Hopefully there is someone in your area who also wants to get out - that can really add to the fun of fishing. They are either fun to fish with or else you can push them into the lake and get a chuckle that way.

pike, livebait preferably. they are really switched on right now. at least here in Scotland they are. of course we cant livebait now but it would be my first choice if it was an option.
