i was just wondering if any one knows if coarse fish act differntly the futher north you go ie spawining feeding ect.

they wear kilts and jimmy hats and our pike only eat the 3 legged haggis. all joking aside does anyone know of any difference from coarse fish in the south comparde the north?

Well in my experience the highland Pike in the loch I visit like clear blue skies and bright sunshine and warm weather, which would under normal circumstance not be my first choice for piking, and in fact is the kiss of death down here at home.

Plus the highland pike fight much harder pound for pound.

I would think that the temperature difference would make it so they spawn earlier in the south. Doubt the time change spring forward/fall back makes a difference though.. All joking aside of course... Or is it coarse? biggrin.gif

Haggis dont have 3 legs they have four but 2 shorter than the other so they can run round hills easier.
