went to Frensham Great Pond ,the whole pond is full of algy filaments (the pond is a foot deep at the swim but you couldnt see it)
had a couple of knocks but may have been line bites ,the algy is so thick its a wonder how fish can breath never mind eat so wasnt surprised to go home with a blank . my catch of the day was a very large catapult strangly in its shallow "bucket" was a orange "sail" from a float will forget that pond untill cold weather kills algy [ 08. Might be worth giving the small pond a go not sure what the algy is like though.

yes we thought about it and i`m sure theres no algy there ,the only thing is my mrs is disabled and as you know the best swims are a good walk from the carpark .I will try Stillwater next time although i haven been there yet or maybe Cutt Mill ,whoops The Tarn now its reopened
