wondered if anyone had any advice on the best place to catch my 1st cat. go twice every season and this will be my fourth season after a cat. fished at willow bank at kirton lyndsey east yorks and shatterford at kiddiminster with no joy apart from a missed strike on my very 1st attempt. cats of any size would be welcome as i threw myself into the deep end at willow bank with cats going upto 88lb. a venue with loads of cats would be ideal even if they are small

Look up Jimmy's Lake in fobbing/corringham, £10 per rod per day, night's allowed, if you get them on thier day your laughing.

Grafton Mere in North Yorkshire might be worth a look at.
You have to book a ticket but there are cats in there to about 33lbs and good carp too.
Fish based boilies are taking both species.
Get there early, weekends are at a premium ,as there has been a lot of occasions where more anglers have been booked in than there are pegs available
