I have several older but good rods that have sliding reel fittings.

I now dont use them because I much prefer screw fittings.

I fancy removing the cork and fitting new cork along with screw fittings.

Can anyone offer any tips or where I can purchase materials. Any info on the net anywhere?.

thanks

john

John

I buy quite a lot of materials direct from Hopkins and Holloway. Very friendly and efficient service. More specialised materials such as coloured grips, burl cork, various ring patterns etc I buy from America (remember to add VAT, Duty and shipping to total cost).
Websites are;
