be careful if its coming from burnley fishing tackle mate .... bought a pole roller off them last month on ebay, almost a month later a different pole roller turns up, and they overcharged me postage by over 4 pounds ... still no replys to numerous emails. Funny they are quick enought to accept payment through emails, but not to reply.

Sorry Chris if its nothing to do with you, but seen your link, and it says they are a partner of yours

tigger - what with the cost of postage for your tubes, and the fact that they're "fishing tackle", why not get down to your local builders merchants and check the price of plastic drain pipe? Bit of newspaper stuffed each end and some duct tape on the end and you're away. Probly save a fortune!

cheers

Plastic drain pipe is too expensive - we mail out a lot of rods, and we've tried most things. One of our suppliers used to do a great tube for less than £2 with proper caps and everything but now has discontinued them.

The 'ideal' solution is postal tubes, however, we have to buy them 250 at a time at £1.30 a tube or thereabouts, which is still not that cheap.

Our current supply is from a carpet company I think - this middles of lino rolls especially are fairly small, and larger carpet rolls are great for brollies, multiple rods etc.
