I've recently being reading a recent edition of the 'Anglers Mail', the excellent coarse fishing paper. One article described in detail a big coarse match fishing event in the Midlands. It would appear that one team had to scramble around on the day of the competition due to the fact that a team member was allergic to 'joker'.
Now, I know that joker is used as an attractant, but can someone tell me precisely what is is?

Hoping you can assist.

Hi folks, I need a good line for a small river. 3 or 4 weight. Casts are likely to be short 10 yds with the occasional 15 yds. I use cortland 444 for still waters and find it top draw. DT or WF is another dilema. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.
