boilie's come in a range of sizes from 6mm 8mm 10mm 12mm 14mm 16mm 18mm 20mm 22mm 24mm all are good for carp, the 14mm ones seem the most popular in the ready made sizes, 6mm-8mm are great as a carpet feed, a lot of people think the smaller the boilie the smaller the fish , in my experience this is not true I have had some very large carp on small 8mm boilies the same with with the bigger sizes some people think the bigger the boilie the bigger the fish, I have had a 3lb carp on a 22mm boilie I hope this helps you Nathan

Certainly does matter in relation to size of carp where I fish. Size of carp inversely proportional to size of boilie. Tending to zero at > 22mm.
Mind you I tried no boilie but infinitely large carp was not forth coming. Like a black whole really the laws of nature break down on the limits -------------------- Malcolm Evans
