Hello Mr Wogan?
I`ve not fished on the African Queen but I know many people that have. In fact last week I was on another boat fishing almost alongside the Queen. Both boats had similar results. About a dozen plaice on good drifts, with a smattering of dabs and doggies. The skerries was a bit hit and miss at the time because of the small tides.
But I think can expect more than enough fish to help fill the freezer. But do me a favour? Any small plaice that are only lightly hooked. Put them back to get bigger. As you may know. Trawlers are not allowed on the skerries? So if you catch enough for yourself. Don`t do what I`ve seen too many anglers do at Dartmouth. Leave half their catch in the fish box because they can`t take them home.
 Paul.
We don`t use J`s anymore!!
