The Askari catalogue will tell you all Craig, you get them from Askari! But be a tad wary, Askarie can be excellent regarding deliveries, but not always.

Why are you still so moved to catch Trout on float fishing tackle? There are many species that would give you good sport on the float but you keep harping on about Trout (see 'float fishing for Trout' in the fly fishing forum...)Is your freezer still not full...??

tinca61 - how about "because he wants to"? That works for me. Different folks like different styles and sometimes you use a method just because it is fun even if there are "better" ways.

Do I detect a hint of snobbery?

Does it really matter?
The original poster doesn't seem to have been on the forum for about 4yrs.

Is their some ulterior motive for bringing this piece of 'history' to light Rob? B)

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Didn't notice the date must admit, it was at the top of the first page though strangely.
