Ken,

While your retorical answer as a question doesn't necessairly encompass "morality". Those who followed "the example" hurt A LOT OF PEOPLE. The Rolling Stones validated a lack of morality as an acceptable standard for lots of kids. It's like saying our professional athletes are not "role models" - - - bs - - - they are - - - - even if it's not by personal choice.

However, as to the question - all the negative things I believe are "wrong" don't keep them from being the top rock band for 50 years. Congrats!

Pure personal preference mister, for me and millions of fans worldwide, and they never influenced me to smoke pot or take any other drugs. Maybe one of your favourite bands will not be my cup of tea ! give it a go, name a favourite band of your's ! :)
Lets see if some of the manufactured garbage we have today will be around in 50 years time, somehow i doubt it very, very much.
Why should they roll on and leave us in peace ?

Andrew,

I guess that means you don't want a steady diet of church organ music?

A great band with that very rare thing - music that stands he test of time.
They're done now though. Age has done it's thing and although I see they're planning a 50th anniversary tour in 2013 (They're not 50 years old yet, you have "premature adulation"), I can't really see them setting the world on fire.

shame on the trust for being party to dragging  the rsa into the failed cfp, because they can sniff funding.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

Kent & Essex Sea Anglers, block alternative opinion on their face book page, shame full.

Still not bad Ken from a band that only saw themselves to be around for a couple or three years, LoL.

"premature adulation" just taking in whats been reported on the telly, still a feat to be admired. Its a celebration of their first gig. How long were they together before that :P
