I am after a light chair I can carry for stalking and long walks to the river bank. It has to be comfortable, adjustable and weigh under 4kg, if not lighter

Any ideas

See the new JRC Range! There is a JRC Relaxa Chair which is 3.8kg

http://www.jrcproducts.com/

which I don't like! But on the other hand there are these as well

Also from JRC is the Terry Hearn Roamer Chair which 3.2kg

Also a Terry Hearn Stealth Chair which weigh at 3.5kg

I have a rucksack with a built in stool. It's perfectly comfortable for my needs.... and it's cheap.
This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

Tommo

Has to be adjustable as I said in my original posting. I have one of the fold away chairs and they are totally useless on uneven banks

no idea what the fox stalker weighs, but it's light enough to lug around from swim to swim without much of a problem

The JRC 'Terry Hearn' range is great value, I've got the 2 leg specialist bedchair (£49).
Good quality, very comfy, not too heavy and good as a 'chair' with the lower section folded up (many are not) yet still a decent 'proper' camp bed for non fishing use.
Jealousy: totally irrational anger directed at people who happen to be richer, prettier, thinner, cleverer and more successful than you are.
