could anyone recommend a good quality suit that can take the wear and tear of chesil beach ; i have put my knees through two old course fishing salopettes and now need one that is strong enough to take my bulkish frame ( im 6 foot and 16 stones )

There's an amazing array of clothing in http://www.askari-fishing.co.uk ......

it's a massive fishing catalogue and highly recommended .... 480 pages at the last count .....

and, no, I don't have a commercial interest with them ....

just darn good stuff .....

Hiya Hembo

Hopes you're well and fishing hard! I's got the old Sundridge Professional suit. which has scuffed its way up and down cliffs quite well without too much damage. Although for Chesil you may want to look at some of these new "breathable" suits, as the walk can get you fairly hot. Get some of those things roofers wear for your knee protection :D

I personally would not use anything else but a Sunridge suit. I have had a one piece 'Heavy weight' suit for years. It is still as good today as it was when I got it. VERY warm and I re-proof it every year.

Blatent advert BUT I do have a 2 piece one for sale. E mail me for details :D

Sundridge are good suits. I use mine most of the time. Just not sure that you need something as heavy as the `Professional` or `SAS` for the shore?
Try tonystackle.co.uk he`s a Sundridge dealer and has some special offers at the moment.
You`ll need a tad more movement on shore?
Paul.
We don`t use J`s anymore!!
