Hi Olly, welcome on board. :D

You may not get a straight answer every time but it is lots of fun. :D

Living up to it's name stars are flickering all of the time :D

Hi Olly, maybe you have to turn the flue cleaner. If your lamp is like my 220f, turn the wire 360 degrees that is sticking out of the bottom of the glass dome. HTH

When you say 'eats the electronic sparker', what do you mean exactly?
Welcome to the boards but please could you not type in capitals as it is considered bad manners. :)

Sorry about using caps. When i say electronic sparker i mean the black igniter that holds the batteries that fits in the side of the lamp.the plastic case cracks and falls apart.

I have had an igniter fall apart in just the way that you have described.
The lamp was brand new, I filled it with petrol, ignited the lamp for a test amd allowed it to run for a few minutes.
I turned the lamp off and loaded it into the back of my car, on reaching the pier the igniter case had broken up into shards of black plastic.
It may be due to petrol dropping down on to the igniter.
Since then I carry the igniter in a Jiffy bag in a pocket on my rucksack, I put it into the lamp to light it, making sure that there is no petrol in the slot, when the lamp is lit I remove the igniter and stow it back in the Jiffy bag.
I have seen igniters start to melt due to the heat of the lamp if left in place and this overcomes that problem as well.
I have returned the remains of the igniter to the shop. It has gone back to Coleman, if they reply then I will post the results here.
