Hi,

I have begun to fish a new water, Spider hall lakes owned by Maidstone victory angling club. As with all new waters i fish, i usually fish the easiest lake, in this case the match lake. However, the two 7 hour sessions i have fished so far have been of no sucess, apart from the odd line bite. I have knowledge that the lakes are quite hard, but i see no signs of fish, let alone them feeding. I have been using a simple safety clip lead setup with dark mantis braid and dynamite baits the source or malt chocolate and tiger nut boilie. I have also tried maggots. Is it something i am doing wrong, or is simply too hard.
