NEWS RELEASE FROM
ANGLING TRAVEL

Dear Angler,

This May, you can enjoy a handful of intriguing, intimate rivers we have sourced where exquisite barbel grow to good sizes and in prolific numbers. These Spanish rivers meander through the most spellbinding of country, through olive groves, past traditional white shepherd’s cottages and past cascades of wild flowers.

Barbel are one of Spain’s hidden treasures (at least 9 accredited species). By far the most beautiful of these extraordinary fish is the Andalucian barbel with its canary yellow and mandarin orange colourings.

You will discover that bait is a sure fire winner and then on many of the streams we encourage fly fishing as a challenging option. Nymphs work well but, believe it or not, small dry flies work even better! The fishing is always intriguing, our clients always very happy.

Imagine it! A 5 pound barbel on a small dry under the sinking Spanish sun and a chilled beer on the hotel’s patio to come. Does life get any better? Last chance, call or email to book now.
