General
All lakes are Fishing very well with fish feeding up with shorter daylight hours, still tight in margins just of first shelf or on the bottom of the second shelf or out tight in the island margins.

Best methods are pole, waggler, pellet waggler, bomb and tip/feeder. Best baits on hook are banded angel 10mm pellets, mussel hair rigged or banded, prawn, paste made from angel 3 mm pellets, cubed luncheon meat, worm, maggot, caster and soft hooker pellets.

Feed angel sinking pellets, if using a cage feeder add a little ground bait and cooked hemp plus a few casters or chopped worm, if using a maggot feeder try soaking some of the maggots in an additive e.g. predator plus.

Some exceptional large carp coming out with Ian Dixon (season ticket holder) having several 20lb plus and high numbers of carp to double figures on several fishing trips this week, Ian used hair rigged double mussels to get every one of his 20lbs. John Warne from Gateshead fishing tight in margins on waggler using mussel on the hook took 4 large bream to 8lb from peg 19 on Bowes.

Lookout

Bowes
If you get feeding and method correct there are some large numbers of fish being caught including

Some exceptional large carp coming out with Ian Dixon (season ticket holder) having several 20lb plus and high numbers of carp to double figures on several fishing trips this week, Ian used hair rigged double mussels to get every one of his 20lbs.

Pellet waggler, pole, tip/feeder, and bomb working very well (suggest you bring a choice of all these so if one switches of you can then fish a different method to go on catching.

Best hook baits this week are mussel, angel 10mm pellet, paste from angel 3mm pellets, multiple maggots, worm, caster, cubed luncheon meat, soft hookers and expanders.

Bassetts

Great pond especially in windy weather, anglers using top 3 or waggler doing very well tight in margins with some high numbers of carp and crucians coming out as well as silvers,

Best baits for this pond on the hook are maggots, paste made from angel 3 mm pellets as well as soft hookers, worm also doing well. Feed maggots or angel 3 mm pellets.
