Conditions: – Third overnight frost in a row, ambient temperature 5 deg with bright sunshine, humidity 70%, wind W 3mph, barometer high 1037.9 mb, moon phase waning crescent, water temp dropped to 4.6 deg, PH  7.45, DO 14.5 ppm.

General
All Carp including crucian, common, mirror, Koi, are feeding well early /dawn and late/dusk, also if you get on a shoal there are some good catches to be had, on banded or hair rigged pellet, fish tight to the margin reeds on island or far bank, and feed very small amounts of angel feed pellet, or on feeder small amount of groundbait mixed with angel pellets.

Silvers including tench, rudd, roach, ide, Orfe, skimmers, bream, perch, all catching well try mid water at 12 meters or 4 meters of the bottom shelf, red maggots working well, banded pellets, use small amount of ground bait and 3mm angel pellets soaked.

Fishing Methods Methods working are Pole, float/waggler, Bomb and feeder

Best Baits hook: Pellet, Maggot, Caster, Worm,

Only allowed as Feed bait – Angel Feed Pellets

Remember don’t overfeed just small amounts as water temperature is still cool at 4.9 deg although some good colour to the water.
