General

 

Water temperatures went up to highest was 3.4 deg on Friday but dropped over 1 deg through the overnight snow on Fri/Sat.

Fish are moving now and starting to feed, and perch ready to spawn (first of our species to spawn)

Some excellent Fish have been now stocked with the Big Bream from 6lb 7oz to 8lb 9oz went into Bowes so together with the fish introduced from Bassetts and silvers and tench already in it is a great mixed coarse lake now.

Bassetts fully stocked also and can be fished from the first week in March after the new fish introduction.

Nice to say that anglers are catching silvers, tench, as well as carp,

We decided to put the big bream into this lake as the smallest was 6lb 7oz and biggest 8lb 8oz a lot of stunning bream went into Bowes.

Bowes is now a stunning mixed coarse lake and a second quality match lake.

 

Lookout

Fishing well considering the weather conditions, with matches booked Sunday’s, fish moving now we have over 12 hours of day light, carp now being caught as well as good bags of silvers.

 

Bassetts

De frosted at last & spring is on its way now fully stocked with Orfe to 3lb 7oz (blue, orange, & white)  Ide, Lots of crucians (300) , 500 carp, Rudd, Roach, Tench

 

The last of the fish stocking went very well and fish settling in well.
