General
Some very still days early in the week followed by Two very heavy frosts Wed and Thursday Evenings and very low barometer pressure put the fish down this week but fishing picked up towards weekend, water temperatures have remained steady in the 7 degs, despite snow on Sunday.
Bassetts
Some good numbers of Tench both Golden and Green coming out with John Nelson of Washington catching double numbers of tench on Sunday despite snow showers, Rudd, Roach, Ide carp, all feeding.
Best baits maggot, sweetcorn, pellet, worm and worm cocktail.
Bowes
Carp turned back on to feed after the 2 heavy frosts this week with a lovely 22lb 5 oz mirror coming out on Wednesday Evening by Edwin Granger from Portsmouth on Mussels, whilst Dave Potter taking 12 good Carp on Wednesday on Cockles with chilli powder.
Best baits have been maggots, sweetcorn, pellet, worm and worm cocktail, meat cubes, cockles and mussels.

Some good carp to 14lb 7oz, bream to 7lb 4oz, tench to 8lb 5oz, plus rudd, roach, ide, skimmers, tench and perch all feeding well
