Angie Lawley showed her other half how it’s done by catching an amazing 19 fish between 20lb and 31lb on a recent session at St Johns Lake on the Linear Complex.
Partner of Chub Carp Academy Member, Chris Lowe Angie caught the 7 twenty’s to 26lb and a 30.8lb whilst using a Chub 13ft Vantage 3.5tc rod.
Angie arrived at the lake for a 3 day session on the Monday morning but had to wait until 7pm to get into a decent swim as the lake was busy.
Fishing at a 40 yard range using SBS lobworm boilies over SBS pellets, Angie started catching immediately and ended the session with 19 fish caught between Monday evening and Wednesday lunchtime.
Angie’s catch included fish weighing 30lb 8oz, 26lb, 25lb 12oz, 24lb 04oz, 22lb 08oz, 23lb, 24lb 06oz, 20lb 08oz and 20lb 04oz.
Chris Lowe unfortunately came away with only one fish at 18lb.
Angie said;
“Having been going carp fishing for over 10 years this has to be my best session yet. Few carp anglers ever have such a fantastic hit in one session and I am over the moon. ”
