Match fishing news from the Angling Trust

The fifth qualifier for the Angling Trust RiverFest 2015 took place on the River Tyne at Corbridge to Wylam on Sunday 19th July.

It was a tough match for the 53 competitors due to heavily coloured water and high wind.

The winner was Bag’em Matchbaits angler Steve Whitfeid with 14-12 of dace caught on the long whip and maggot,  four pegs below Wylam old railway bridge.
