It would appear that Bennetts of Sheffield, one of the biggest names in angling retail, have gone into receivership.
I telephoned their number – 0114 2756 756 – and received an answerphone message confirming this and telling me that all enquiries should be directed to Wilson Field Insolvency Practitioners on 0114 235 6780.
I’m not the only one that is sad to hear this news, I’m sure, and hope that those affected manage to make the best of what must be a difficult time.
