Country Channel Fly Fishing Series to be re-run on Sky 171 and The Country Channel

The excellent Born to Fish thirteen part fly fishing series is due to be re-run on Sky 171 and is currently available on the free to view Country Channel at www.countrychannel.tv.  The series is being re-run on Sky 171 (Mondays 6.30pm from 8th Feb) due to the resounding success of the first run.

Presented by Mike Hobbs and produced by Stuart Mackay the series showcases a range of very different affordable day ticket waters from around the country.  These are not exclusive fisheries and the thrust of the series is to highlight the fantastic fishing available to the average punter.  Locations are varied ranging from the River Wye (Wye and Usk Foundation) and River Wylye to a remote Welsh lake called Llyn Bugeilyn.

Paul Aiken (Country Channel CEO and Chairman) is delighted with the new series: “This series captures the thrill of going fishing and shows how the average fly fisherman in the UK can enjoy excellent fishing at an affordable price. We hope the series will be enjoyed by those who already fly fish and interest those who have yet to cast a fly.”

Being keen fly fisherman themselves, Stewart and Mike make a great team and the quality of the series speaks for itself.  So if you have an interest in fly fishing or simply like beautiful landscape tune in to ‘Born to Fish’.
