… and it’s not the biggest common in the lake!

A 60lb common has to be high on the wish list of any specimen carp angler and there’s no better place to try to catch one than Angling Line’s Margot lake in France, which boasts at least 3 x 60lb+ commons, with the biggest coming out at 71lb this year.

The latest lucky captor was Mark Bushell who returned to Margot for his second visit of the year a couple of weeks ago… and he was rewarded with this magnificent 61.05 specimen.

61.05 Margot CommonFor the record Mark tells us it came from peg 4 and successful bait was one single fluoro yellow Nash mutant plastic boilie, accompanied by a small PVA bag filled with halibut pellet.  Rods were Fox Titanium paired with Shimano 4500’s and hooklink was 18lb Krystonite with Fox Arma size 8 hook.
