Fishery report by Marlene Mc Laughlin

Firstly, on behalf of the staff at Cashel Trout Fishery, I would like to express my sincere sympathy and condolesences to the family of Mr Eddie Kealey (Dungiven), who passed away during the week.  As we all know Eddie was a very keen angler and huntsman truly enjoying life to the full and will be sorely missed by us all.

Derry anglers really had a great time with us here at Cashel using assorted flies from dries to GH daddies.  Billy Hazlett bagged two at 4lb 15ozs and released four which took dries and buzzers.  Alan Temple bagged two at 4lb and released four too which took black/green lures.  Pat Nicell released one which took a gold head daddy but unfortunately had to leave early.  James Mc Feeley bagged three averaging 2lb each which took the pink humungus.  Pat Doherty released three which fell to dries.
