The start of night fishing in luxury

NEWS RELEASE

South Wales Fishery Cefn Mably has capped a winter of re-stocking and general development work with the introduction of night fishing, and the option of staying in a luxury Log Pod. From the 28th April, Anglers will be able to fish either the Lodge Lake for Specimen Carp, or the Spring Pond which has been restocked as a coarse pond with: Carp, Tench, Rudd, Perch, Chub, Bream and Barbel.

Complete with heat, light and power, the Log Pods or “Timber Tents”, will be situated close to the edge of the lakes allowing Anglers to enjoy their sport, with the option of a warm and luxurious haven in which to rest, particularly in bad weather.

Fishing Log PodOwner John Jones commented, “In introducing night fishing and the Log Pods to Cefn Mably, we have not only responded to the requests of our customers, but also ensured that they can enjoy the very best facilities during their stay with us”.

Site Manager Owen Jones said, “We chose Log Pods for a number of reasons not least being the way in which they blend into the landscape. Being mobile, they also offer us the flexibility to quickly and easily move them around the site”.

Both night fishing and the Log Pods will be available all year round. A 24hr fishing ticket will cost £20 per person. Log Pods can accommodate up to 4 people from as little as £8 per person for the 24hr period.
