With one-to-one tuition with friendly qualified angling coaches, ideal for complete beginners or for those that already know a thing or two and want to improve their fishing skills.

The events will run from 9.30am until 4.30pm. Fishing tackle, bait and rod licences will be provided on the day. There will also be an opportunity to try your hand at pond dipping at Coate Water Park and Farmoor Reservoir and learn about the fish and bugs that live in our lakes and rivers. No need to book just turn up.

Environment Agency Fisheries Officer Tom Sherwood said: “By giving people a chance to become involved in angling we are providing an opportunity to get closer to nature. Angling can be a hobby for life, which can be enjoyed for half-an-hour at a time or a full day and is just plain good fun.”
