The ever popular annual Salmon & Trout Association Dinner will be held on Friday November 21st, 2008, and the occasion will once again be ably supported with an array of the latest products by local fishing tackle manufacturer Hardy & Greys Ltd.
The event, which is being organised by the Northumbrian branch of the Salmon & Trout Association, will be held by kind invitation at the Newcastle Falcons’ Rugby Ground, Newcastle.
The newly appointed Salmon & Trout Association Secretary for the Northumbria branch, Carole Sanderson said:
“This Annual Dinner has become a regular part of the “angling” social calendar, and is a vital way in which anglers can help with and promote the environment, the conservation of fisheries and species management.
“As usual we have had enthusiastic support from those donating towards the raffle. Hardy & Greys especially, have supported us generously, and we are proud to be associated with them and thrilled that they continue their generosity to this vital cause.
“This year is the first time that I’ve organised the event, and I’m looking forward to meeting so many friends, old and new on the evening.”
Prizes in the Raffle include a Hardy Demon 9’6” #7 and 10’ fly rods and Demon 5000 reel.
Hardy & Greys Ltd are also heavily involved in the support of other angling and conservation based charities including the ‘Anglers Conservation Association’, ‘Wild Trout Trust’ and ‘Angling Trades Association’.
