Misty explains ‘The river has never been fished by visiting anglers, and I went alone with some of the locals from the area. The river is a small one indeed, but truly full of Mahseer; both the Himalayan Mahseer barbus tor putitora and the Boker or Chocolate Mahseeer Barbus hexagonolepis. This river also had Goonch; the Giant Cat fish of the Indian rivers.’

This itinerary will soon be posted on www.himalayanoutback.com and the season for this river, due to its Far East location, is November, December and February.

Arunachal Pradesh is the last Mahseer frontier, which is why, The Himalayan Outback, has developed it as a destination offering a real adventure that few other operators can deliver.
