Andrew Wedgbury was born in Redditch, a town with a pretty good claim to being the spiritual homeland of angling. He’s told that he has a distant connection to the famous tackle manufacturer Samuel Allcock and, as Redditch people, many of his ancestors would have certainly worked in the fishing tackle industry.
