2011 gets off to s flying start

On Sunday 10th April the Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing club held their first junior day of 2011.

Held at Chatton Trout Fishery, Chatton eighteen young people aged between seven and fourteen attended the event.

The day ran 1pm – 5pm and gave all children the opportunity to try their hand at the art of fly fishing.

Coaches on the day included Club Chairman Lucy Bowden, Club Junior Development Officer Deborah Ford, Club Treasurer Jenny Lindley and committee member Carmelle Hook.

“Sunday’s event was a great success and as Chairman of Fishing For Everyone I am very proud to be able to give young people the opportunity to try fly fishing. Due to the success of this event we have organised another junior event to take place on Saturday 11 th June and now have a designated Junior Development Officer.”
