Kate Scrafton (Exhibition Manager) and Heather Kerr (PR and Marketing Officer) have resigned their positions from the EFTTA Secretariat to move onto pastures new.  

Heather with 2 1/2 years service and Kate with 5 years’ service will both leave in March.  Heather leaves on the 7th March to join Emap events in London as a Marketing Manager on one of their B2B exhibitions and Kate leaves on the 12th March to join ICBI – part of the Informa Group.

Kate ScraftonKate said: ‘I have had a wonderful time at EFTTA and have thoroughly enjoyed the EFTTEX experience for the past five years. I’ve seen a lot of growth and expansion with the exhibition and I am confident that EFTTEX 2008 will be a great success in the hands of Neena and Janet. ‘

Heather added: ‘After two years with the EFTTA team, I wish the Secretariat every bit of luck and success, especially as this year’s exhibition is set to be one of the most important shows in EFTTEX history.  I am sorry to leave behind such a fantastic team and thank them for making my time at EFTTA a truly wonderful experience.’

Neena Tailor will take on more EFTTEX responsibility and Sally Steel will move over from EFTTA membership duties to assisting Neena and Janet Doyle in organising the EFTTEX Exhibition.  Vicky Seymour, a new addition to the team will take over the EFTTA membership responsibilities from Sally until Kathleen Glausch returns from maternity leave.

Joanne Whitehall, who was PR and Marketing Officer from 2000 to 2003, will return to the team to take on Heathers role.

Janet Doyle, Secretariat General Manger, said “It’s been great working with Kate and Heather over the last few years, and I know that they will be sorely missed.  I would like to thank them for their contribution to the EFTTA cause and wish them every success in their new roles”.
