It’s always great to see youngsters enjoying their fishing and the following email struck a specific chord with me, as I have two young daughters and I’m really looking forward to taking them fishing when they’re older!

What a glorious weekend for fishing!!
A group of us went to Suffolk Water Park this weekend, where my daughter Katie caught her first fish – a 13lb Mirror Carp! Not bad for a first, eh?
Funny thing was she hooked and practially landed it too as her Dad had a different call of nature! – It’s all in the timing!
