The annual Kenmore seminar, which usually ties in with the opening day of the Tay salmon fishing season has had to be postponed due to an unfortunate technical difficulty. It is, however, planned to re-schedule the event for the near future.   Invitations were sent out by the Kenmore Committee in mid- December by e-mail and it has since been discovered that spam and phishing filters on recipients’ systems blocked the receipt of the majority of these invites.  The scale of the problem was not apparent until early New Year, when a repeat communication, this time from Scottish Native Woods, revealed that a large percentage of people had not received their invitations. It was then too late for many people to commit to the seminar. It is therefore with regret that we have decided to postpone the event on 16th January

The Kenmore seminar has been running for a number of years and we know that this will be disappointment to many people who were particularly looking forward to discussing recent developments on the Tay. The organisers will be in contact again in due course when the new date is confirmed.
