Fishermen Gary Naylor and Dave Higgins are celebrating one of the south’s longest standing sponsorship agreements this year and hope to mark 25 years of support from Kings Toyota with record catches.
For a quarter of a century Kings Toyota, part of the successful Snows Motor Group, has been taking care of travel arrangements, bait and clothing for the Hampshire fishermen who have a busy time ahead as the summer season gets underway.
“It’s fantastic to have such consistent support from Kings Toyota, this help allows us to concentrate on doing as well as we can,†said Gary.
Following the end of the six match Kings Toyota Super League Challenge which ran from October to March, the pair have just completed a four week festival in Newquay with 180 anglers and five different venues. Kings Toyota provided transport for the event to accommodate the equipment and provide the anglers with comfort on their travels.
Following Newquay, Gary and Dave are travelling the country competing in the National Federation of Anglers Fish ‘O’ Mania which finishes in July and are hoping to scoop a prize of £25,000.
“We’ve really enjoyed supporting Gary and Dave for the 25 years and it’s a great way for us to help local sport and keep in touch with the community,†said Phil Maddison, group franchise director for Kings Toyota.
