News from Fishing For Everyone

To celebrate National Fishing Month The Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club are holding a ladies day on Ross Lake at Chatton Trout Fishery, Chatton on Sunday 18th July, 2010.

National Fishing Month runs from 17th July – 15th August, 2010, and is all about encouraging and promoting the sport of angling amongst those who have never tried it before.

The ladies fishing event is open to all females to come along to relax, have fun and most importantly of all, catch fish!

Newly qualified Level 2 Game Angling Coach Lucy Bowden and head Coach Rebecca Thorpe will be offering casting tuition on the day to any ladies who would like it and equipment is available if required.

The event will run from 12pm – 6pm so that the ladies can catch the evening rise.

Lucy Bowden said;
“The interest in this event so far has been great and we already have a good number of ladies signed up to attend. National Fishing Month is all about getting even more people into the sport and I hope ladies pop along and try it out!”

The Club also have events scheduled at Caistron Trout Fishery and South Linden in August and Whinney Loch in September with many more events yet to be announced.

If you are interested in attending this event or any others please contact Club Founder and Chairman, Lucy Bowden – lucy@fishingforveryone.com, visit www.fishingforeveryone.com or the Club blog – www.blog.fishingforeveryone.com
