The Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club visited Langley Dam for the first time on Sunday.


Eight women and two honorary members attended the event and most caught fish.


Deborah Ford landed the biggest bag with six beautiful Trout including a small Perch, closely followed by Lucy Bowden with four fish, Jane Johnston with three and Margaret Ward and Lynne Gatiss with one each.

Lucy BowdenAll Trout weighed between 2lb and 3lb and all ladies experienced near misses with Trout rising to dry flies.


Club Chairman, Lucy Bowden, said;
“This was out first trip to Langley and we had a smashing time. Most of us had sport and the fish fought extremely well. Langley is just one of the most beautiful fisheries around. We will definitely be back.”
