Southampton Boat Show

Stand EO46

September 2006 Lombard Marine Finance will be on hand again at the Southampton Boat Show to help every type of sailing enthusiast with the purchase of their new or second-hand boats.  Lombard’s presence at the show comes on the back of a fantastic first six months in 2006 where they have seen growth in all areas of marine finance.

Lombard’s excellent first half year figures, with business up by 41%, has meant that the team has expanded with several new members of staff being appointed to work on some prestigious accounts.  Members of staff will be on hand at the Southampton Boat Show to guide people expertly through the process of buying a boat, from discussing which finance options are available, through to assisting customers with vessel registration and insurance.  They will also be providing details of special deals on vehicles suitable for towing boats through Lombard Vehicle Management.

Ian Braham, Head of Marine Finance at Lombard, said “Despite concerns about a slow down in the sector overall, we can report a 41% per cent increase in business turnover against this point last year.  This means that people looking to finance new or used sail and power boats are still out there and more of them are choosing Lombard.  We are confident that we can not only offer competitive rates but also a professional service and expertise to our customers.”

Lombard’s stand at the Southampton Boat Show has views over the water and visitors are encouraged to come and spend some time talking to the team,  discussing their exact needs whether that is borrowing in sterling, euros or US dollars.  Structured payments allow a tailored repayment schedule to be built around a customer’s needs.  All members of staff have expertise in the marine sector allowing visitors to feel comfortable that their important purchase is in safe hands.
