The workshop that took place at both Berwick and Ashington campus’ encouraged new first year students to apply their knowledge of enterprise to their new college surroundings.
The students had the opportunity to speak with two entrepreneurs who have started their own local businesses in the sectors that the students are studying.
Lucy said;
“It was a pleasure and a privilege to have been asked to attend the ‘Reaction’ workshop as part of Northumberland College and to tell my story to the next up and coming entrepreneurs.
“Every one of us is different in the route we take into work and the work we do, and I hope that hearing my experience has inspired the students into thinking outside of the box.”
