The Luton AC Board have voted to allow keepnets to be used again on the canal during the months of April and May which is great news for the local match scene as well as pleasure anglers.
Sadly, with immediate effect, Luton AC members can no longer fish the River Great Ouse at Haversham as the land has been sold.
Mirror CarpNew member Dan Hyne from West Cheshunt fished the South Lagoon for the first time catching a 17lb 7oz scaley mirror. Following on from the theft from the Woodlands container Luton AC are asking that anyone with any spare tools eg spades, shovels, hammers etc that they would like to donate to the club should contact me Steve Sharp on 07704462635 and I will pass your details on to the Fisheries Management Team to arrange collection. Anything would be gratefully received as most of the clubs vital equipment has been lost.
Luton AC are looking for bailiffs for two river sections near Milton Keynes and Bedford plus the Grand Union Canal around the Stoke Hammond/Leighton Buzzard/Pitstone areas. Please contact Steve Sharp on 07704462635 and I will pass your details to the Fisheries Management Team.
Please phone/text your catch reports from Luton AC waters to 07704462635 or email and  if you have pictures taken on your phone send picture messages to 07704462635.
